The selection process for the program "Traineeship for Public Servants in Poland"( co-financed by the Polish aid program 2009 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland) announced the Center for Effective Governance System and Territorial Arrangement Reform (CEGSTAR) is completed.

During 4 weeks the selected 20 trainees from Georgia will  be involved in daily work of the organizational units of the host institutions in Poland in order to get familiar with the scope of the works of the particular institutions and acquire practical knowledge and understand Polish experience and EU standards and practices in the field of decentralization and human resource management in the context of regional development.

The Primary Objective of the traineeship is to support regional development in Georgia by empowering Public Servants with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective implementation of the Regional Development in Georgia.Priority areas of the program are: Regional Management, Institutional setup and Human Resource Development, Fiscal Decentralization and Financing of the Regional Development; Local and Regional Economic Development.
