Study tour in Poland
The repre-sentatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the Centre for Effective Governance System and Territorial Arrangement Reform (CEGSTAR) visited Poland for the study tour.
The delegation of the Congress Local and Regional Authorities will supervise the elections in Adzhara autonomous Republic on November 3, 2008.
On October 31 the delegation of the Congress Local and Regional Authorities will arrive to Georgia to supervise the elections of the High Council autonomous Republic of Adzhara, planned for November 3, 2008.The leader of the delegation is Gunter Krugg, the vice-president of the Congress.The European supervisors will meet the representatives of International organizations and the members of Adzhara High Council before elections in Tbilisi and Batumi.
On the last day of the visit, the press-conference will take place at the office of the Council of Europe in Tbilisi at 13.30.
The decision on supervising Adzhara elections was taken by the Bureau of the Congress on September 19, 2008, after discussing the information of Yavuz Mildon visit (September 9-11) to Georgia,
The Congress will be informed on the estimation of their supervisors to Adzhara elections at the autumn session (December 1-3, 2008).
